Can a girl grow more after her first period?Updated 9 months ago

Most girls stop growing taller about two or three years after their first period. Teenage girls can absolutely use our products during puberty to maximize their height before their growth plates close completely. However, once a girl starts to have periods, her height growth will slow gradually. She will mostly grow taller by only 1-2 inches per year since then, even in optimal conditions.

When her growth plates fuse completely as mature bones around 2-3 years after her first menstruation, it will be impossible for her to grow taller, and no height growth supplements can reverse the fusion of growth plates to boost her height then.

To know exactly whether someone can still grow taller, or whether our products can work for their height growth, please make sure that the user's growth plates are still open. Having an X-ray will help to determine the exact status of growth plates before deciding to take any height growth supplements. If she has been growing taller at least one or two inches over the past 12 months, her growth plates may still be partially open. On the other hand, in case she has not grown any taller for the past 6-12 months, it is very likely that her growth plates have already fused completely and thus taking supplements will not work for her height increase then*.
